LFB Teacher Toolkit preview PD with educators at the Zekelman Holocaust Center, Detroit, Michigan
The third time was a charm! The Center expected 25 educators to attend and 40 showed up! Their excitement about the LFB Teacher Toolkit was contagious and both a University and Community College expressed immediate interest in purchasing the curriculum for their institutions. There was also interest from local high schools and from a retired Superintendent of schools. It was a fantastic event!

The second preview in Durban went really well! Karen was more confident and the group of teachers had lots of questions. They wanted to know when they would be able to use the curriculum in their schools. They were told "Sometime in 2026..."

This was our first official public unveiling of the LFB Teacher Toolkit. The educators from the Center and from local schools were very interested in the curriculum and excited that the archive would be accessible online.

St. Catherine's School, Richmond, VA
It was wonderful to spend an entire day at St. Catherine's School with the high school girls. We started in Chapel, giving a presentation to 350 high school students about "Tell a personal story". Next, Karen taught 3 History classes and was able to demo the "Differences Lesson" from the newly launched LFB Teacher Toolkit . The students were active participants in the lesson and the teachers were impressed!
