We are thrilled with the incredible turnout to the LA premiere of Letters From Brno at the Museum of Tolerance on November 9th. The cohosts of the Holocaust Museum LA and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic, Amb. Jaroslav Olsa, Jr. and the Kristallnacht presentation by the Museum of Tolerance, contributed to this unforgettable night. Liebe Geft, Director of the Museum of Tolerance, moderated a lively and insightful Q&A.
A highlight of the evening was the attendance of all the children (and some of the grandchildren) of Erika Turkl Neumann and Daisy Turkl Purdom -- the two sisters and kinder transports who are featured in the film.
